How to start up - first things first!

During my startup mentorship meetups and calls, countless were the times I was told "I have a business idea, but I don't know where to start from!” Now that you are here, I am pretty sure you do have a business idea in mind too that you did not start working on yet.⠀ ⠀ First things first: I am a hardcore believer that, in order to set up a successful business, one has got to be solving a problem, addressing a market gap, or fulfilling a need. This should be your starting point. But how can you go around this? It is as easy as asking yourself: ⠀
. Why am I launching this business? Is it something personal or it is driven by a market need? ⠀ . What will I add to the market and bring it to my customers? ⠀ . Can I clearly explain my business in an X&Y analogy; For example, my business is Uber for electric scooters? ⠀ . Do my potential customers really need my service/product? ⠀ . Are my potential customers searching for what I have got to offer? ⠀ . Is this need a local, national, regional, or maybe global one? Have I found a "collective pain”, which is a common problem among a group of people who need it to be cured? ⠀ . Can I build up on my product and scale it? Meaning, can I introduce it into new markets or offer novel offerings in the same market? ⠀ . What is the profile of my best customer? Age, sex, location, education level, hobbies, interests... ⠀ ⠀ I know this is a challenging, maybe overwhelming journey. For this, if you are hesitant about answering any of the above, let us get on a call and brainstorm together. Check my Calendly link to book a 30min free mentorship call! ✨
