A huge part of being "resourceful" is being aware of practical solutions to hurdles that you may face. In fact, the keys to your growth as an entrepreneur are: being well informed on your ecosystem's news and updates, being able to map out available opportunities in your space, and connecting with the right ecosystem players.
So, as you get started with your business, take a minute to research and check the following:
Incubators & accelerators in your space - check out the cycles you can apply to and receive the needed resources from, as per your industry and startup stage. Do your due diligence too; some are industry, stage, or country specific.
Startup/SME grants or funds - who does not like some money to kickstart his/her business? Many governmental and private entities subsidize funds to get startups and SMEs up and growing. It only takes few clicks to know what is available for you in your country and space.
Upcoming startup events, competitions, and summits - yes, being active as an entreprenrus is key for your personal and your business's growth. Be active. Be present. Be engaged. Also, a lot of these events and summits can bring your startup opportunities; from competitions, to monetary or in-kind prizes, to investors connections, among other benefits.
Mentorship opportunities - in order to grow faster and steadier, do seek the support of a mentor. Choose mentors in your industry who fully understand your technology or product, and choose mentors who can share their business or ecosystem expertise. Mentors who have been in the space for some time now know what it takes; they know best business practices and some have founded businesses themselves. Many are willing to share advice for free!
If you haven't already, research and seize opportunities in your industry and country!
