Enough with the negativity! Aren't you sick of all the gloomy posts we are surrounded by? I know for sure that I am! It has been a long time since I read something positive, since I read about a success, a happy moment, or a nice memory. It feels that social networks got caught up in an endless nagging cycle. Lately, I found myself purposefully avoiding social conversations and escaping platforms because of this. Honestly, I made myself a promise to post positive and fun content on my social handles only. I trust that this is the best way to cope with the world changes these days.
A couple of weeks, I celebrated a memory with my Instagram family. Back then, I worte:
April 04, 2019 is one of my special days! On that day, we officially registered as Launch DXB. To be honest, my entrepreneurial journey found me, and not the other way round, thanks to my co-founders! Let me keep that story for another blog. For this one, I want to talk about the journey itself. ⠀

When we first started with Launch DXB, we invested a lot of time to read about the whole process, to understand the market and learn about the game. We consulted many resources and successful ecosystem players, searching for answers to our questions. Of the many things we came across was the saying by many that once you launch your own startup, you two become one. There is no more you and it. It is your startup, your time is its, especially if you are a passionate entrepreneur in your early days. Back then, little did I believe this all. ⠀

Few months down the road, and in less than a year, my startup grew to define me. In the startup ecosystem here in Dubai, I now stand as the co-founder of Launch DXB, and no longer as only Diala. Whenever I get to travel, my Mac visits the world with me and so does Launch DXB and its emails. During family gatherings, you will find me on my phone every now and then. Sometimes, I would be even finalizing some agreements! Even at these gatherings, time never passes without family asking me about my venture and me talking about it with sparkling eyes! At night, I rarely fall asleep without thinking of a new revenue stream or a marketing initiative.⠀

Well, probably just like you, I thought that these claims about entrepreneurship were nothing but myths. They are not! Time proved me that they are not. Another proof is that today, I am beyond happy and proud to stand for Launch DXB. Enough about me, what about you, what do you/will you stand proud for?⠀
