For the past weeks, I assume like any other Lebanese, I lacked the physical and the mental power to operate to my capacity. With the tragedy that is still taking place in Lebanon, my mind and heart are with my people. 

During the past weeks, I have been personally receiving pleading calls and messages from Lebanese startups, asking for support in the UAE. As hard as it is to leave the country, many communicated their serious consideration of a temporary or a permanent move. I could not stand still so I worked closed with Launch DXB team to mobilize (and still are) the community here to support. We have started by working closely with Virtuzone, a leading company setup specialist in the country, to launch a special startup support package for the relief of Lebanese entrepreneurs, who wish to move operations to the UAE. We then reached out to our mentors and ecosystem partners to help Lebanese startups moving here better access the market and smoothly integrate in the ecosystem, and to help ones staying in Lebanon obtain support from a distance. 

I felt helpless, but I promised myself to do all in my capacity to support my own people. I am starting with this initiative!
